Remove a Guest User

In a web browser:

What happens with the user's details? Are they stored?

  1. Go to https://portal.familyzone.com

  2. Sign in as a Parent

  3. In Users > Guests, click the guest you want to remove from your account

  4. Click REMOVE FROM MY NETWORK

  5. Click REMOVE from the Are You Sure? pop up

  6. Click OK on the Alert pop up

Family Zone does not store the details of guest accounts once you have removed them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What about devices associated with the Guest?

The devices can be used elsewhere in our system if needed.  If you have a Home Zone box on your account and they connect they will show up under Unknown Guest.

What happens with the device is running the Family Zone app managed by a different Family?

The Family Zone Box applies a Safety Net profile to devices running Family Zone belonging to a different account. The Safety Net compares the filtering rules between the two Families and applies the most conservative rules to that device while it is connected to your Family Zone Box.
