Frequently Asked Questions

How do you change or remove the link to a school?

The school can be changed or removed from the Web portal (https://portal.familyzone.com).

What is the advantage of linking to a school?

Linking your child's devices to a school allows Family Zone to recognize the school's network. Family Zone automatically transfers the filtering to the school during school hours. After school hours, Family Zone transfers the management of online content back to parents. Parents can override the school hours filtering when a child is homesick or out of school.

What are the benefits of a Partner School inviting me to the School Community?

Parents get an added service from Family Zone Partner Schools. The local school calendar and school hour routines will be synced for the parents through the School Community feature. Parents won't have to make a time change for days when children are out of school, like the teacher training days or school holidays.
