Check the Safety of a Website
Family Zone tracks and rates websites by the safety or risks to different age groups. As a Premium Member you can lookup our ratings for websites and learn if it is recommended for your Child.
On a Parent's phone or tablet:
- In a web browser (Safari or Chrome), go to portal.familyzone.com
Sign in with your Parent email and password - Go to menu > Insights > Website check
- Tap on the user's name
- Select your Child's name
- Type in the web address
Tap GO - Review the website rating for your Child's age group

Some websites are unsafe for young children. The same website may be less risky for mature teens. Notice that some websites are blocked for the younger age group and an older child can access the same site.
- Tap on your Child's name
- Tap on another Child's name
- Tap GO
If you feel we have incorrectly blocked or allowed a website, please tap the Report a problem link and let us know. We can also be reached by online chat or you can request a call back to discuss the website.
Internet Filters & Rules Options
As a Parent, you may want to customize our recommended Internet filters and rules for:
- Web categories (Dating, Education, Government, Hate Speech ...)
- Search engines, SafeSearch, and streaming media (YouTube, Google, Bing ...)
- Websites (specific web addresses)
- Device features (Camera, In-App Purchases, App Installs ...)
- Social networks and games (Minecraft Online, Skype, Tinder, Twitter ...)
- Advanced (Malware, Piracy, New Websites ...)
